Med Congress of Radiographers - History
of the organization |
In 2005 after much work by a group of
radiographers from 6 different countries the
first Euro-Med Congress was held in Malta at
the Mediterranean Conference Centre.
The E-MCR is a not-for-profit and
non-political Organisation, aiming to
promote the development of and the practical
application of Diagnostic Imaging and
Radiotherapy Practice through Continuous
Professional Development. It fosters
co-operation amongst Radiographers and with
other Professionals in related disciplines.
The E-MCR is committed to scientific and
technical excellence, to innovation and
quality in healthcare, to the promotion of
knowledge and understanding, and to promote
the Radiographer’s role into research.
The first three congress (Malta'05,
Malta'07 and Portugal'10) were successful
and provided the motivation and support to
continue in providing a forum for
radiographers in the Euro-Med region .
